204B is a single-face, multiple spring, balanced, bi-directional mechanical seal.This mechanical seal features a multi-spring design, which ensures an even load distribution on the sealing faces. All springs are adjustable, providing a long service life.The seal can be lubricated by an integral oil reservoir, or it can operate dry without water. No external flushing fluid is required.
It is primarily used in top-entry agitators and equipment where leakage is not strictly controlled, such as stainless steel reactors, and wastewater treatment systems.
