DGS-PDN is a dry-running gas seal,it is a double end gas seal,cartridge design,Uni-directional or bidirectional capability.It consists of two stationary ring assemblies and one rotating ring, featuring a compact axial length. It is well suited for applications with limited axial space or high rotational speed.Sealing gas with a pressure 0.2–0.3 MPa higher than the seal chamber pressure is used to block the process medium, ensuring zero emission of the process medium to the environment, while a small amount of sealing gas enters the process. The seal requires a reliable sealing gas supply with relatively high pressure, which must always remain higher than the pump chamber pressure and must not be interrupted.
It is suitable for a wide range of fluid media, mainly used for toxic and hazardous, high-temperature, coke-forming, self-polymerizing, strongly corrosive, and particle-laden media, such as fluids containing H₂S, various solvents, benzenes, quench oil, tar, methanol, and similar services.Can be used as a replacement for Burgmann GSO-DN seal type.John crane Type 2800E and Flowserve GX-200.
