Application:Specifically designed for glass lined reactors and vacuum devices.

The Type 212 mechanical seal is a single-face, multiple-spring, unbalanced and independent rotary direction design. It is specially developed for corrosion-resistant glass-lined reaction vessels. The seal uses an alumina ceramic stationary ring and a filled PTFE rotating ring with a bellows structure. When the medium temperature is above 80 ºC, cooling jacket is needed with water cooling.

To prevent dry running, type 212 operates immersed in an open oil reservoir. It offers excellent corrosion resistance and can be used for sealing highly corrosive gases such as chlorine and hydrogen fluoride. It is also suitable for corrosive liquids including sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid.
