The Plan74 dual-end dry gas seal control system (buffer gas/isolation gas control panel) is designed for dual-end pressurized, non-contact dry gas seals, providing externally supplied pressurized buffer gas (typically nitrogen). The buffer gas is passed through condensation filtration, pressure stabilization, and flow limitation before being delivered to the cavity between the two seals, creating a stable positive pressure gas barrier. This prevents process media from leaking to the atmosphere while also keeping particles, moisture, and oil mist from entering the seal gap, thereby enhancing the reliability and service life of the equipment.
The system enables visual monitoring and signal output of buffer gas pressure and flow, with support for interlock alarms. It is suitable for demanding process conditions involving flammable, volatile, toxic, or otherwise hazardous media, as well as media with poor lubricity or containing solids/crystals. It is particularly effective in scenarios where a small amount of nitrogen entering the process media is permissible, but leakage of the process media to the outside is not allowed.
