DGS-S is a dry-running gas seal,it is a single end gas seal,cartridge design,uni-directional or bidirectional capability.It is suitable for scenarios where the sealed gas is non-flammable and non-hazardous, and atmospheric leakage is permitted. The complete seal assembly consists of a front labyrinth seal, a primary seal (single end) and a separation seal.Seal gas is injected between the process side seal and the primary seal faces. The majority of the seal gas flows into the compressor and a slight amount flows across the primary seal faces. The seal gas pressure is reduced across the seal faces to vent pressure. Seal leakage is typically vented to the atmosphere. Separation seals as labyrinths and carbon rings are optionally available.Can be used as a replacement for Burgmann DGS single seal type.John crane Type 28XP and Flowserve Gaspac S.
