DGS-CTL is a API 692 tandem dry gas seal with intermediate labyrinth for compressors，the seal uses two sets of tandem friction pairs. The primary seal serves as the main seal, while the secondary seal provides safety protection. The surrounding seat design effectively reduces equipment damage caused by a broken seat.
The auxiliary seal uses a high-performance polymer seal. It provides good temperature, pressure, and corrosion resistance. Both seal stages can withstand the full process pressure.
If the inboard seal fails, the outboard seal can still operate safely under the full process pressure. The secondary seal uses nitrogen as its working gas. Secondary seal gas prevents process gas from leaking through the outboard seal to the atmosphere.
Both unidirectional and bidirectional grooves are available. The cartridge design simplifies installation and dismantling.
This configuration suits most applications and provides high safety and reliability. Process gas does not leak into the atmosphere, while external nitrogen does not enter the process system.
