Type 2100 mechanical seal is a single-end, balanced seal with independent rotation direction, elastomer bellows construction and bellows-driven torque transmission. Its compact, unitized design simplifies installation while providing reliable sealing performance for a wide range of rotary equipment.
Both the elastomer bellows and spring provide pressure compensation for the sealing faces. The flexible bellows also helps accommodate radial shaft movement and improve the floating performance of the rotating ring. The single-spring design keeps the structure simple and helps maintain stable face loading during operation.
