LP-D mechanical seal features a double-end, multi-spring, balanced design and operates independently of shaft rotation direction. LP-D is cartridge designed, stationary structure, clamp-type transmission. The compensation components are integrated into the flange, while elastomers isolate the springs from the process media to prevent clogging or sticking. The use of multiple springs ensures uniform loading on the seal faces.
The secondary seal on the barrier fluid side provides additional sealing, effectively preventing leakage of both the process medium and the sealant. The shaft sleeve is elastomer-supported, eliminating axial movement and avoiding shaft damage. Positioned close to the rotor, the seal faces achieve excellent cooling and lubrication performance.
With a special structure suitable for back pressure operation and internal flow channels in the flange, cooling is evenly distributed across the seal faces. This seal is widely applied in papermaking, power generation, and wastewater treatment, and is especially designed for paper pulp pumps and sewage pumps.
