Type SE1, SE1-AP, and SEG mechanical seals feature a single-end, multi-spring, balanced design with independent rotation direction. They use a stationary structure with pin drive transmission. The stationary spring arrangement suits high-speed applications. The springs remain isolated from the process media, which helps prevent clogging and spring failure.
A piston design provides excellent axial movement for effective wear compensation. The split-assembled structure allows easy installation and supports reliable operation.
The SE2 mechanical seal is the double-end version of the SE series. Type SE1, SE1-AP, and SEG seals are widely used in papermaking equipment, slurry pumps, and pressure screens.
They also suit flue gas desulfurization systems and other demanding industrial applications. Typical industries include chemical processing, power generation, mining, oil refining, alumina production, food processing, pharmaceuticals, and paper manufacturing.
These seals can replace similar Sulzer products. They also serve as Safematic SE1 replacement seals, subject to matching dimensions and operating conditions.
